I met a friend there.. it was good, but way to crowded to actually chill..
im underage and a person gave me a non-virgin pina colada.. when i said virgin.. but i drank it with no problem hahah

its just that you wanna chill, but ppl practically push u to keep on walkin when u wanna talk.. a can of soda was 2 bucks... A CAN!

i dont recomend it, its too crowded.

I stay away from those street festivals. It's always the same thing to me; overpriced food, too many people, and vendors with items I'm not interest in at all.

Everything is so much more crowded these days. I used to go to the SG feast when I was younger and it was crowded, but not so bad. Now it's a zoo. Like NYC at Christmastime, going to see the tree.. used to be doable... now it's like a zillion people. No fun.

I used to try and go at least once each year to check it out, but haven't been in about 10 years.

Is it any different now that it is supposedly 'legit'?

I hate that feast, so over rated!

St. Rosalie's feast in Brooklyn is a lot smaller, but so much better in terms of real Italian food and such and a nicer crowd.

^^ i think i was the only half italian walkin around.. and i'll bold it, "half"

I think they all went to Yonkers, Bergen and Essex counties, and LI. Bergen County has one of the highest italian populations in jersey.

But misssunshine, do you know when the one in BK starts up or when it went up? because every festival in the other boroughs besides Manhattan have more culture meaning. if that makes sense.. im not talkin about the ppl there, i mean the food, and the enviornment.

Seems like the ones in Manhattan are commercial or something.

I used to love it YEARS ago. Now it is way too crowded, no fun at all. I would rather enjoy little Italy all on my own...
