Hello to all!!

I finally moving to Monroe in October, I pray my lord that we made the right decision because we are going there. My two kids are very exciting, I hope I can make friends, moms like me and friends for my little ones (ages 4 and 11). I will be alone with my husband and my kids because the rest of my family will stay in New York, but I want a peaceful place and a loving house for my family. I know God will help me overcome any obstacle we may face. Right!

P.D Please tell me what do I expect from people there? My neighbors are friendly or conservatives

I live in Monroe Township for 3 years now, my kids are very happy. There is a great rec. center for them and the activities are really inexpensive.
Monroe Township Recreation
Good Luck

I hope you bought in the right section of Monroe Township. That other section is full of hoodlums and people of poor character.

Can you be more specific and show some examples?

Welcome to Monroe. I moved here 10 years ago. No regrets. It's a great community, particularly for families.

This is what I've heard from someone that lives there and that's why I've asked the other poster for specifics and an example. Hoodlums and Monroe Township? Must be those hoodlums living in the retirement developments.

I knew someone who lived there and went there quite frequently. I thought it was a cute little town and everyone seemed so friendly. Congratulations on your purchase! I hope you enjoy your new home.
