Well, some of you know our story of trying to adopt a new dog after years of mourning/missing our old rottie. And after a few dissapointments I'm happy to introduce our new member of our family.

Here she is. Name (so far) Misty and she's a 3 year old English Mastiff.
Well, She's finally home-misty1.bmp

I bet she will be a sweetheart. Best of luck and please have her spayed if she isn't already. Enjoy.

Thank you all. She's a big dog and when you first see her you might feel intimidated because she's so big but she's the sweetest thing, very docile and gentle. She's the perfect dog for us, loves to go for walks and rides in the car and just sits on the floor w/ those big sappy eyes. I indulged her a bit last night.....loves pizza!

by the way... more kittens looking for a home if anyone is interested!! Someone dumped a mom and 3 babies at my realtor's house! She may keep two of the babies and she needs to find a home for mom and the other little fluffy grey kitten. Mom is a calico or almost torty with a white chest and belly...I'd say more on the side of Calico. The shelters and pet adoption groups are over-whelmed and running out of money! Soemone dumped two adult cats outside the door of the pet adoption area at Pet Smart last sunday... 2 full grown cats stuffed into a flexible carrier big enough to hold a chiwawa (sp)! They hung the carrier on the door knob! Both are front and REAR declawed!!! What is wrong with people!!! First you mutilate the cats and then decide to dump them off for someone else to care for! Be responsible... call.. offer to donate money in exchange for their assistants! Or see if they can help you adopt them out!! Just don't dump them off like they are garbage : (
