A few people told me the kingdom was a good movie, late me see if i can bring it up on HBO tonight with this rain coming. The wind gusts are close to 40MPH already down here by the ocean. Small branches are snapping off the trees.
It was actually pretty good... one of those ones that you really need to pay close attention to!
A Portrait of Jenny, with Jennifer Jones, excellent movie!!! Dial M for murder, Grace Kelly great drama!!!! There are my two. Also Random Harvest and the original Mr. Deeds!!! Movies Hmmmm....
On the popular side, I recently saw Tropic Thunder which was a hoot....
On the more highbrow(?) side, at a recent university showing, I finally saw The Lives of Others... a German film about east German Stasi spying on an artistic couple before the fall of the Berlin Wall... and a glimpse of later life after the fall.
Funny, moving and very thought provoking. Liked it a lot, worth checking out.
I haven't seen a "good" movie in years. Haven't been to the theater in at least 3 years.
I'd rather watch sports!
I never go to the movies anymore... I wait for the DVD - they usually end up being pretty crappy and I'm thankful I didn't spend the $200 to go and see it at the theaters
a really good movie i saw a while back was "Candy"with heath ledger. him and his girlfriend were heroin addicts trying to break the habit. really really good.i also watched "doomsday"last weekend.
i think i will be in all weekend watching LIFETIME movies. love that channel
and most likely playing the WII...
I know it's not new but just watched Zodiac, the current movie and an older version of Zodiac..gave me the chills as I remember it growing up..until Zodiac & Charlie Manson stuff like that either didn't happen to often or wasn't heavily carried by the news media
