I read on cnn and heard on the news that it is increasingly difficult to get a mortgage approved nowadays, especially w/ the big banks. This is even true with people with a 750 credit score. We just missed the bullet when we locked in 2 weeks ago and scored a pretty good deal (5.875 for 30yr) even w/ a credit score below 700.
I was wondering if it is true for people to get loans. Is it because of credit score? Is it because the big banks are scared?
thanks nicolem.... i'll check it out... to see if it is true
