Since I asked so many questions about it, I thought I'd let you all know how it turned out and maybe help anyone who is looking to do the same in the future. We moved in 2 months ago. It's a corner house with a side door. Without a fence we really had no yard at all. We almost didn't buy the house at all for that reason. Luckily we realized we could put a patio at the bottom of the stairs and enclose the yard - that way we could come right out of the kitchen. We just had this idea that you're supposed to go out the back into the yard. lol. So after many, many estimates we decided to do pavers after all. It was pricey - but it is so beautiful. Way better than I even imagined. The ground is not at all level and they did an excellent job of evening it out. Our house is white so we went with a sable color - a blend of greys with a few pink bricks mixed in for color. The fence is 6ft white vinyl with the lattice top. They also did a great job dealing with the uneven ground. I was so worried that it would just be crooked all around and I would cry every time I looked outside! We went from having no yard at all to a nice, big one. Since we put the patio on the side (and the bbq will also go there) it leaves the whole back open. It's also nice and private since there isn't even anyone on the other side of the fence. I was worried that the fence would be a big eyesore but it isn't at all. It's set back from the sidewalk so I think the stretch of lawn keeps it from feeling like it's towering over you. It wasn't cheap, but I feel like we've added a room on to the house - that certainly would have cost more!!

Am I allowed to say who we used for the patio and the fence? I read the TOS but I'm still not sure.

No pics yet. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to put them on here. I didn't get internet access at the house because I knew I wouldn't get any work done. Now that the place is coming together we'll probably get hooked up. My husband also tiled the kitchen floor. NOT his favorite activity. He's still hunched over. haha.

Thanks, NJ - glad I didn't break any rules. If anyone needs a fence or patio in Monmouth County let me know!
