Hi -
We're relocating from the midwest to somewhere in Central NJ - Chatham, Mendham, Long Valley, Oldwick, Tewkskbury areas are what we've been most pleased with so far.
If anyone can recommend a good real estate agent, preferably with knowledge of the area and an interest in historic homes I'd appreciate it.
Those areas are mostly up in North Jersey. I know someone as well who works out of the CB Chatham office-Lisa Doherty. If you are looking more for Central Jersey, then we're talking Monmouth and Middlesex County. Those are my specialties but not the areas up North that you are talking about. Good luck!
I am a realtor living and working in Central NJ. I can give you this advice, call several offices, meet with a couple agents, ask alot of questions and base it on how much information they know about the different areas and whether your personalities mesh. There are a ton of realtors, all out to make a buck, me included but I do know you need to have a good working relationship with the realtor in order to find what you want in the least amount of time.
