Well since Scranton seems more and more like a suburb of NJ with each passing year why not just come here to keep me company before I relocate as well?
If the Valley ever got its act together and created well paying, white collar jobs, I'd be back there in a heartbeat living in a loft or nice neighborhood close to the city core. I can always keep dreaming until then, but the GF is a producer for a cable news network, so it might be hard to talk her into jumping from that to WNEP haha

Mayor Roberts screwed up the town and now taxes are going sky high. I will guess that some of these condo buildings will convert to rentals.

lol, I actually get my adult beverages from the liquor store on the corner of that PathMark shopping center. Outstanding prices, but you're correct with the people that wander that parking lot. shay-dee!

Not yet. Soon, but not yet. I think my first stop out in the suburbs would be Maplewood, Montclair, or Rutherford. After that, it's Scotch Plains, Berkeley Heights or Basking Ridge.

Dang...that's kinda sad, HG. I lived in "boken in the late 80's when it was still a very "edgy" place to live. I wish you luck in your new adventure.

The only thing edgy about the Boken now is if someone dares to live in a walk-up. This town jumped the shark a few years back.
