The yearly 640 mile pilgrimage to Denver. The kids are getting older, so the drive shouldn't be as taxing.

May the force be with you Mike0421

I just made an executive decision - we're eating out this year. Just me, hubby & kids. The family is ticking me off too much, I told them we'll see them at night for deserts!

it definitely gets easier. our worst drive was only to LBI, but on a saturday afternoon, in the pouring rain. the boys were about 15 months - one screamed the ENTIRE 3 hour ride. that vacation was the one time in my life i honestly thought i was losing my sanity.

this past april though the 18 hr ride from FL to NJ was a breeze. what a difference 9 years makes. Good luck and have fun!

oh, at the risk of going OT, we're headed to AC next weekend, and my DH is excited to try a White House Cheesesteak - Gaetano's may have met its' match, although I highly doubt he'll rate WH higher, he's got to be loyal ya know to the 'boro. LOL

White House cheesesteaks, IMO, are actually one of their more lackluster offerings. You need to go with the CHEESEBURGER sub. Or the Italian Sausage. These two are both MUCH better IMO.

That's a damn good decision EEE. I wish we could do that as well. Life is too short to put up with that kind of dreck.
