OK - where is there an ok K-Mart in NJ? My Mom has their circular and is driving me nuts to go with her.... I have not been in one in years and the ones I know of are GROSS. I think Paramus's is ok... someone said there is one in Emerson and Closter... anyone know of a DECENT K-mart. (Blue light specials all around...)

Belleville! I like that K-Mart and it's blue light special heaven.

On the corner of Main and Joralemon.

I don't think there's any such thing as a decent K-Mart anymore. There is one in Elmwood Park on Route 4/Broadway, just past the Fair Lawn border. I actually prefer this store to the Paramus one, but it's still not great, and the crowd rolls a little harder than in Paramus. They're all pretty bad these days.

Really? I didn't like Elmwood Park - that's why I was thinking Paramus! LOL
Anyone ever go to Emerson or Closter. If I drive her up to Closter, she's treating me to lunch. LOL

What's with the blue light special Kmarts? Is there a difference? What are the blue lights specials? Is that like rollback savings from Walmart?

Not a big fan of Kmart- rarely go there.

I agree, the one in Hazlet is pretty good. Also, the one in Avenel/Colonia was redone not too long ago. Not too bad.
