Oh God, IF you are not broke this Holiday Season...there are DEALS to be had out there!

We just got back from an exhausting day of doing what little I can to stimulate our dying economy...CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.

Mom FINALLY dragged me to K-mart (it was as abysmal as I feared...) she agreed so we bolted. Hit Sears. Dear God I got some bargains! I was actually a little giddy! Got the kids teachers $35 Isotoner gloves for $9.99 and $30.00 Totes Umbrellas for $10.50. Got my niece a $80.00 pair of boots she wanted for $27.99. I was really just silly happy! (BTW, I really like Sears...they are doing SO much for the men & women in our armed services... I hope they do as well as can be expeted this Holiday Season.)

The only thing that SUCKED is after I successfully got my kid the kareoke machine and camera she's been saying she want... she BLISSFULLY went with my Mom to see Santa and told him all she wants is the Wii! I was like "Santa can't get Wii's they make them in China, not the North Pole." OY. She said "I know, santa is on a budget this year." LOL.

We've been shopping non-stop! Found some really great bargains... a really nice Chris Madden? china set from JC Penney... originally 299.00 - on sale 70% off plus we had a coupon for another $15.00 off! Got the whole set for $73.00 : ))) Went truck shopping yesterday... 2008 Ford F150 listed for 37K... had the guy down to 29K but decided to wait until the spring. There are some great bargains out there for those who need to buy. Linens and Things - going out of business sale... now advertising 40 to 60% off. I'm waiting for them to hit 80% off before I go back : )

i agree there are a LOT of deals out there... that make you go WOW things must be pretty bad as they are desperate to get you shopping.

I had gotten a free meal coupon from Chik Fil-a, so we had it while at the mall yesterday, not something we usually eat but its good once a year or so. In the bag, there was another coupon for "whatever you ate today, eat it free on Dec 2"...

ebay even sent me a 15% off + free shipping coupon ????

Two weeks ago, I went to Sears because I love LandsEnd fleece. Never do they put a sale on LandsEnd, well, they did that week!! I got a turtle pullover for $19.50, my DH & FIL fleeces for $19.50.
However, I did buy my 3 Heavenly fleece pullovers a little too early this year because I paid full price. But, I'm still happy.

WOW! That's fantastic, I'm stopping in there this week and see if a sale is still on.
I love LandsEnd stuff too! I want a few more Heavenly Fleeces, but not at $39.50, hopefully I can snag a few more cheaper.

LOL - I need a new TV too, but that's on the backburner.

There is a "store" on E-bay I have gotten AWESOME Lands End deals from. NEW stuff. I got the kids LE Parkas for $25 and this year the guy is offering Free Shipping! Last year I paid $42 and shipping for similar ones...if you want the name let me know!
