PA, ummmmm............ You guys are a one trick pony.
I don't know who you are referring to but I am most certainly not 'one of them'! I'm a native of NJ who just happens to be stuck here for the time being...at least in Philly. Comparitively there are some nice parts of PA,but I like unpopulated country areas anyway
I wouldn't stand for any Jersey bashing from my PA friends either. Spent my college years in Wilkes-Barre, so many dried up coal towns (you know, the bitter clingers). My typical reply was "you've got to be kidding me"
Well I hate to quote him, but James Carville once said "PA is Philly on one side, Pittsburg on the other and Alabama in the middle." Thats a pretty good one.
The best descriptions of Scranton I've ever heard are that it's a "Bean and Frank" town and a "Horse and buggy" town. Can't describe it any better.
Why,do they still have the oh-so outdated, car wrecking cobblestone on their streets also? Philly's like a Bean and Frank town too,'cept it's more like Meatball and Cheesesteak
OK, I left NJ, looked back, and slammed into the car I was tailgating.
