Deptford mall was so packed today I couldn't get a handicapped spot.
The stores need to make more parking.= or people like me will have to shop from home more

You know, I've said it before and I'll say it again... UNTIL we see what people are SPENDING the traffic at the malls really means nothing. It can be PACKED but what are people spending?

The other thing, I was in a Toys R Us on Friday. 2 Fridays before Christmas. IT WAS DEAD. I was SHOCKED.

Also, a Target last Saturday was pretty damn empty for a Sat before Christmas too... so time will tell.

Rockaway was crowded, but not out of control. I got the first spot in front of Sears and there were plenty of spots available. Lines weren't long in the stores I bought stuff in. The line in Borders was pretty long though, but it always moved pretty quickly.

I would not be surprised if Border's closed soon...and I love Borders. And Barnes & Noble, I'm a book addict.

Lines were long as well.
American Eagle's line was outrageous
Hollister the lines were horrible as well.
Victorias Secret was horrible. I walked out, I can shop online.
Abercrombie, no line - who could afford it...

People appeared to be going to their cars to dump their load then going back in.

Also went to Kmart in Deptford, not bad.

I think Hollister and Abercrombie are comparable in price. With Abercrombie, you have to walk to the back of the store to clearance. I only buy clearance stuff there, and it's pretty reasonable (boys shirts for $12, etc).

I found Abercrombie to be a little more expensive, not by much.
I did find pants on sale for $30 there, so I'm happy.
