Sounds quite yummy!

Ohhhhhhh......if you didn't cook it who did?

Tonight I had 2 Fried Chicken Drumsticks, half of a baked Yam, and also some homemade Lentil-Split Pea soup. Can't beat Mom's cooking!

I lived on that soup all through my college years at Hunter in NYC. There was this place which name has escaped me (ok...it was a very long time ago), that would give you a piping HUGE bowl of homemade Lentil-Spli Pea soup with a generous hunk of bread for $1 and this was on the upper East Side of Manhattan, circa 1984 It was so yummy!

Hey I was poor and it was really nutritious.

Sounds good!

Don't everything is all better now.

Even for 1984 that was a great deal for $1.00 especially in NYC - it must have hit the spot nicely.

So true! I used to flip-flop from soup to the dude who sold falafel for $1
on the corner of 78th and Lex.
