I totally get that. Even if it is on the Dept of Defense's dime ... it is still all our dimes including those in the military ... that money would be better spent on helping those in the military's families who are facing economic hardships because of their absence - or better yet, to those injured in the line of duty who are struggling back home. I wouldn't begrudge the money being spent in this way and I think our service men and women would say the same. Can anyone imagine here a politician standing up and saying something like?
