Hello out there to all you Eatontown guys and girls. Ilived there for about 30 years before that Freehold. What's going on in Eatontown. Left in Aug.2005.
Miss our front yard the most. My wife and I would bring out folding chairs and sit under the big shade tree in the front yard and have a glass of wine. Sometimes we'd bring out one of the dogs and try to keep them under control when kids walked or rode by on their bikes. I really enjoyed sitting in the front yard because we had a good location. Right on the cornor. You could see all the way to Broad St. and over to Main the other way. They used to set up in the summer right in front of my house in the summer for some kind of Eatontown founders day parade of some kind. The dog's used to go nuts.
Here in Keller,Tx we have a good size back yard and we let the dogs out and sit and have a glass of wine just like in Eatontown. The only difference is that in Eatontown the weather usually wasn't condusive for sitting outside. Sometimes I'd sit out there with my coat on and my wife would come out and say "Are you nuts?" I guess she thought it was too cold to be sitting outside.

Default Eatontown next door here!

Exactly the same. Mall is still the mall. Mickey D's still Mickey D's. Becoming more an upscale place to live, as is all of Monmouth County.

What else can I share with you?

I Live next door to Eatontown in Ocean twp. They finally tore down the old Lone Star restaurant on Rt.35. They are building a Houlihans restaurant. And the rumor is that a Dick's sporting goods is coming to Monmouth Mall.

Default Eatontown

Wampum Lake is still there. There's a memorial park there on 12 acres.
Go to Borough of Eatontown fo take a look.

NancyLynne,

Eatontown is becoming more upscale? Where? All I've seen are all of the North Jersey people moving in and ruining the place...
