LGA? Bad choice. Call a limousine service. It'll probably cost you $80 to get to Jersey City, but it will get you there in about an hour. Otherwise, take the M60 bus to 110th and Broadway, transfer to the 1 train downtown, get off at Rector Street and walk to WTC to take the PATH to Jersey City. That will cost you $5.50, but it will take you hours! OR, you could take the Q33 bus from LGA to Jackson Heights, take the 7 train to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and take an NJ TRANSIT bus to wherever you need to go in Jersey City. That will also take hours. Also, if you have a lot of luggage, you really don't want to take buses. My advice is suck it up and call a limo service.

I'm thinking you can get a cab to a subway station somewhat near LGA, switch a few trains to get to WTC in Manhattan, and then take the PATH to Jersey City. Of course, switching subways is a royal PITA, especially if you have luggage.
