So, Ive been in Freehold for almost 3 1/2 months and I have plenty of guy friends, but stiilllllll no female friends.

Now, before you get your panties in a bunch NJ women, I do appreciate you all. Ive noticed that (in general) women here tend to be very good with money, well educated, and assertive.

However, its hard to find female friends. I dont really talk to anyone at the gym and dont have many nights off, which leaves days.

Any ideas on how to social network here? There seem to be alot of families but....

Ha. Girls never have problems getting guy friends. I see a lot of females with only guy friends. I have mostly girl friends. Ironically it may have to do with hormones. Ask if they have any sisters.

Unless you have grown up w/ them, females have a very hard time breaking in new female friends. It has to do w/ how competitive MOST women are, so until they don't see you as thread is very hard for women to welcome new girls. That been said, try to find girls who have similar types of interest like you and who can accomodate your schedule (you mentioned not too many nights off).

Why not take a class at your local college, library or Kings if you like to cook. Some libraries have book clubs or if you go to church they might have groups that you would enjoy (does not necessarily mean they do religious activities). My church has social groups as well as groups that are religious and do charity. Start a nanny club in your area.
Good luck!

Try New Jersey Young Professionals (www.njyp.org). I believe there's a "4 Minute Friending for Women" coming up soon--that event is in New Brunswick, but they have events throughout the state. I've made some good friends through their events. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

I have the same problem -- can't find female friends here in the same age group. I did my PhD in Illinois -- it was easier to find like minded girlfriends. It seems many people here have families. I am in Cherry Hill.
