Close to Basking Ridge is Bernardsville and Peapack Gladstone.

All have great schools (PG uses Bernardsville), NYC transport, small town charm and great communities. Bernardsville has a county road that goes through the center of town, but has all the local grocery/bagel/deli/dry cleaning type stores on it. Great towns to raise families, lots of parks, town pools, libraries, environmental centers etc.

This thread is such waste of resources and top of it I would not consider many of the mentioned towns in OP's list in top 100 . Princeton ?? have you tried going out of your house and on rt 206 ? Red Bank, did you venture out after 8 pm ? Clinton ? Middletown ??? Seems more like satire than honest list.
