Actually it is more than just V-day for me..I was christened on that day (in the true sense, get your heads out of the gutter lol)....

We haven't gone out for V-day in a long time! per se...We go out to dinner but no one volunteers to watch the kidlets these days lol... Think I will make a nice lasagna dinner..........He can bring home the dessert....

I don't think it is a holiday over there... To me, it's just another way to get people to spend money! They laugh at our St. Pat's day as well... he's not even Irish!!!!
LOL...Exactly! Have a buddy at work from Ireland (oh, his accent makes me melt) and he likes to talk about how St. Patrick brought the sheep over from Wales.

I've heard the snake thing, as well.

Maybe the sheep scared them out! (Somehow, one day, my coworker was talking about how people from central Ireland, do things with sheep [a joke, of course], and how St. Patty was the one to bring 'em)

Some trivia for you - Did you know that there is actually a law, yes, a law, in West Virginia, that says it's illegal to have sexual intercourse with any animal under 40 lbs.????????

My dh is from WV so I love to throw that out there....
