I had and ear ache in my right ear which was just throbing pain for a week and I thought it would subside. It then stopped but now I cant hear out of my right ear. Now throbbing pain in my right ear is starting to happen. Im afraid I will lose my hearing in this ear as well and if this happens I wont be able to work. What should I do I have no money for the doctors and I know its not a yeast infection...Please help...

ohh boy ear infections are the worst! You need a good dose of antibiodicts right away!! You need to find a doctor. I have had ear infections where I have let them go only to have blood come out of my ear! There is no home cure, dont believe the hot sock trick if someone recommends this. You need to find a good course of antibiotics and soon! You need to take full course of medicine. If you know someone who has left over amoxicillian that will do. Go to the doctor, find the money!

sounds like "swimmer's ear". Water in your ear from showering most likely. Try this... lay ear side down and place a warm (hot even) wet clothe under your ear..keep doing it until it begins to "ooz" - I know gross but it works! If that doesn't help...go to the doctor ASAP. You can also buy over the counter drops for swimmer's ear.

Ahhh..that's right! But do you need a prescription? I believe Walmart is doing the same

Where in NJ are you? I have resources on the free and federally funded health clinics.

Wait, I can't believe you work for the State and don't have health coverage! All the State workers I know have full coverage for free.

Yep you need a script. But the CVS minute clinic is about the cheapest place around here to get one (I think).

Don't screw with an ear ache, it's too close to your brain. Go to a hospital clinic. Go now, go.........
