I am thinking, I would like to sell Indian food (Lunch packets) at Edison/MetroPark stations, do I can get any small shop there for rent during morning few Hours, also do I need any food inspector certification to sell food at these stations (I won't prepare there, just bring Lunch packets and sell those packets). Thanks in advance.
That's a great idea. Are u good with food? I don't think u will need a food inspection but if it's a business u may need to register a name and ownership to keep u liable. Will it be roti/ lentils type deal that u warm up in the microwave?
Yes, you'll need licenses from the health department to certify the area where the food is being prepared, and you'll also need a license from the city to sell the product. Lastly, you'll need to rent space/get permission from NJ Transit, since it's their facility that you'd be selling in- that'll likely be the hardest part of the whole thing.
