I don't have a neurologist but have had brain neurosurgery at NYU. My surgeon is John Golfinos and I highly recommend him. John George Golfinos M.D., A.B.
Can anyone recommend a good neurologist or headache specialist in northern NJ?
If your having headaches before you go to a neurologist you may want to check and see if you've become allergic to any foods.....its very common....it happened to me at 28 while going through some anxiety over a tough family loss.....family doctor send me to an allergy specialist and it turned out I had become allergic to wheat causing some pretty severe headaches.......that lasted for about 6 months and then disappeared.....you body chemistry is always changing and you can become allergic to most anything,

What was the nature of your surgery. I'm scheduled for later this month with Dr. Golfinos and of course, i'm pretty nervous going into it.
Dont' want to get too personal, but do you take birth control pills? This was the major culprit of my migraines for years. Went off the pill.....no more headaches.
