For you...Lake Walanpaupak (sp). Great lake and if you're an experienced jet skier, the waves are great!

Lake Hopatcong at Lakes End Marina, Lake View Marina, San Bar Marina and others north of Brady Bridge.

But a word of warning to you. If your a typical terrorist as everyone in the boating world calls Jet Skiers then watch out in Lake Hopatcong. They Marine Police will stop you for going too fast in no wake zones, getting too close to the beaches, terroizing others as well as following power boats which you all do. The fine is $250. If you drink while jet skiing the DUI will count on your regular drivers license. If you rent at Lakes End Marina which has the most rentals and the best prices you will have about a mile and a half ride to get to the main lake and that entire cove is 5MPH no wake. Almost impossible for a jet skier to do.

Up in Greenwood Lake you have Bobs Marina, Greenwood Lake Campground, or The Castle Tavern all rent jet skis.

I am quite certian there are no other lakes in NJ that rent jet skis. The 2 above mentioned lakes are the only 2 lakes in all of NJ with no day speed limits. All other NJ lakes are 10HP max or electric motors only.

If you dont mind the salt there are several jet ski rental places in Atlantic Highlands, up the Navisink and Shrewsbury Rivers, I remember one on the Manasquan River also. From the Atlantic Highlands you would have the entire Raritan Bay to tear up. But another word of warning. If you pester a power boater down there you will have bottles thown at you, fishing weights, hooked lures, anything that can be thrown will be aimed directly at your head. That is no threat, that is reality. Boaters hate jet skiers with a deep passion do to their untrained boating and seamanship terroristic ways.

Safe boating to you............

This is a link to places along the Jersey Shore. Those that have websites have links so you can go to their specific sites.

The place in Toms River called Pier One is where I used to rent about 12 years ago before I bought one. They've been around a long time.

There is also one just over the bridge in Seaside that has also been around a long time.

Both of these are on the Barnegat Bay.

Not sure if you know in NJ you have to stay within specific boundaries. You can't ride off and explore. But it's still fun!

New Jersey waverunner rentals and Seadoo rentals, directories for New Jersey waverunner rentals, business and waverunner rentals websites.

I would like to rent a jet ski in toms river New Jersey, I'm pretty sure I've been there before called pier 1. If that's the place where you can rent out jet skies, motor boats, and go crabbing, I've done pretty much everything their before, but i have never rented out a jet ski there. Only thing is, to rent a jet ski out, do you need any special license, like maybe a watercraft license? I just have my regular basic one for driving a car.

Pier 1 is in Toms River. They do rent out jet ski's. You do not need a PWC Certificate but you can not take the jet ski out of the immediate vicinity. You are in sight of the Pier at all times and there is a "guard" on a jet ski monitoring the rentals.
