Hello,
My husband and I are being relocated and I could really use some advice on where to look for housing. My husband will have to commute to both Fort Lee and Manhattan and will need to travel by car. We will only be in the NY area for 2 years so we would like to rent an apartment but do not want to spend more than 2K for a 2 bedroom. My husband would ideally like to keep his commute every day under 45 minutes. I would like to live in a town that has things to do ( restaurants, shops ) and would like to live in a house as opposed to a big tower. However, realizing that beggers can't be choosers, I would be willing to move anywhere as long as it was safe! I have heard to stay away from Jersey City, Teaneck and Union City but heard that Weehawken, West New York and Edgewater are all very nice. Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks....
