I think it's a great idea, too! I didn't invent it, though. I see it from time to time presented as an option in real estate classifieds up here in New England.

Oh that would be nice, wouldn't it. I suppose if each of the properties were acceptable to the other, if there were any value inequities someone could throw in some extra cash or car or big screen tv to make up the difference.
