Same here.. hence the reason the illegals are leaving! American now have no choice but to take those jobs! But mark my words, when the economy improves and "better" jobs become available, they'll be back to take your place on the farm!

Exactly! which is why illegal aliens when they come to this country do so out of necessity. Yeah, let me leave my home, my family, everything that I know so I can go to a foreign country to earn minimal (if that at all) wage be mistreated and used (and in some cases abused) so I can be a cab driver, a farm hand helper, or clean toilets, so I can send some $$ to my family back home.

Now, MOST other people (of any nationality may I add before hand) instead of finding one of those jobs for minimal wage would rather go on Welfare, Public Housing, or any other govt assistance.

so many people don't even know what socialism is, they're just taking Joe The Plumber's word for it...

Sending 100,000 jobs overseas is the same thing... so I guess you think outsourcing is a good thing? And I do not support illegal immigration at all... but I also know it would have been clamped down on a long time ago if big business didn't see it as a way to further exploit people for their own damn gain.

Things HAVE changed Wiley!

Last week there was an INS raid and when they needed workers, more than a few American's showed up for them. Last snow storm I had, two guys from town were out of work shoveled for me... just making a living.

And people ARE returning. I had a friend (here legally) who moved back to Peru because the market is better in her field there. SAD times.

Sadly the work ethic of America - esp the younger generation - leaves MUCH to be desired. I've loved watching the kids come out of college into my company - they expect the corner office and a company car on day one. It's like GET A GRIP. Never mind asking the *gasp* to do MANUAL LABOR.

Even snow shoveling, please, teens in my town would rather be home playing with the Wii.
