Oh.... you are forgetting a big part of that equation!

The rich boys at the top want every cent to themselves, so why pay someone a living wage when you can exploit the heck out of someone from Guatamalla and then claim you are a "conservative" so you can protect your $500 million salary?????

Gosh I thought with the economy and all people might actually want to look out for Americans and those who have a right to be here but I guess I am wrong.

Perhaps this is a better time than any to put the theory of "jobs Americans won't do " to the test. End all visas and deport all illegals and see if Americans will do these jobs. Afterall, all I hear on these boards is doom and gloom and how things are getting worse each day. If that is the case, why should Americans have to compete with law breakers for any work that is available?

I heard on the news the other day that in Ohio-700 people lined up for one janitorial job-you know cleaning toilets and stuff-the jobs we lazy Americans refuse to do. Somehow I doubt it was 700 illegal aliens lining up for that job.
we need more people like YOU!!!!

The middle class has been SCREWED over for YEARS now. The erosion of the middle class is what is destroying America. Having a "gilded" class and the poor does not a strong country make.

As I understand it, most of these "hoovervilles" existed quite a while back. They have been enhanced for publicity.

Not making light of it. I lost my main job in Feb. We may end up in a trailer. Life is poo. The country has 6 more months of horrible and 18 months after that of bad.

Good thing uber cynical trust no employer me argued with the wife about any spending in the past 18 months so we have some savings.

I don't think I'd do well in a tent. I could survive the trailer, but I need indoor plumbing......
