We are relocating from NYC to Mercer County, my husband has a new job in Pennington and I will be commuting to the City on the train. Can I have feed back about the area around Arena and Gropp in Hamilton. We found a nice property there and it seemed very nice but I worry about crime, schools and re-sale value.

Arena Drive? If directly on Arena Drive, that's a busy street. Gropp...as in Sharps Farm? In any event, you should double check to see which Hamilton school district, as most people seem to prefer East over North. I hope this helps. Good luck.

The area is fine...crime is low and the neighborhoods are well-established by people who have lived there a long time. I couldn't say about the schools though. I know the high school on Park Ave is not the most desireable in Hamilton, not terrible but there are significant issues w/ crime, and I think that is the high school closest to this area. Resale everywhere in Mercer County is good.

Default thanks

thanks for the replys. Gropp did seem to be a busy street but I thought that was because it was rush hour when we where there. is it like that in the evenings and on weekends?

I'm not there much in the evenings but it is a heavily travelled road and that's the reputation...a busy road. Something to consider since you mentioned "re-sale" value. Best of luck to you.
