I am looking at a place in North NewBrunswik on Driscoll court, the streets nearby are Adams Lane and Jersey Ave. Is this a good area, as I've read on the boards that some areas of North Newbrunswick are sketchy. Also is it it too good to be true for a 3 bedroom for $800. i have seen pictures and the place looks nice.

any advice would be appreciated!

Hi there! Just a couple of comments.

First, Driscoll Court is located in North Brunswick, not "North NewBrunswick." It is a side street off Route 1 North. Link to Live Maps here.

Second, the area is not "bad" in the sense that I have not heard of crime in that area. Jersey Avenue is in New Brunswick and is an industrialized area. Adams Lane is a residential section of North Brunswick that is a major intersection along Route 1.

Yes, the Northeast Corridor train tracks do run right behind the duplex homes there, but there is a fair amount of trees to buffer some of the noise.

Third, the $800 a month for a 3-bedroom apartment, I'm presuming, does seem to be a low-ball figure, but stranger things have popped up here.

As long as you have a car, you'll be able to get where you need to go around the area.

Hope this helps.
