around the same time that Cheney returns all the kickbacks he got from Halliburton (for their Iraq sole-source contracts)
around the same time that W returns all the kickbacks he got from Big Oil for never opening the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (to put downward pressure on prices at the pump)
Rahm Emanuel (White House chief of staff) received $350,00 from Freddie Mac for his work on the board of directors in 2001. it was during this time that they were making risky loans that lead to the current recession. When do you think he will return the money?
Obama received $120,000 from AIG when will he return that money?

I don't love Obama by any means but "Rahm Emmanuel" is a snake (in my own opinion). I do not trust him for a second. I hear he is a hothead and has let it be known on many occasions!!!
I don't put it past him for one second!
Answer: Never
My guess would be never. For all the anger directed at AIG and other companies, I only wish more anger were directed at our politicians and cabinet heads for all of their actions-bailouts, cover ups, $$ from the lobbyists etc. In my opinion, there should have been NO bailouts at all.
I mean there were these tour bus trips where people were dropped off and protested in front of AIG execs homes. I only wish more people would have the motivation to be vocal and protest against our politicians. I guess it is more vogue to bash an evil rich guy than a dirty politician.
I am not saying that people should not be angry at AIG and other bailed out companies. However, I personally am most angry at politicians-Obama, Bush, Clinton and congress-past and present- for lax rules, adding hidden language to bills no one ever reads and for these never ending bailouts. Perhaps when the anger at our politicians exceeds the anger at the "evil rich people" then we may actually clean this mess up.
Best not get too fervent for "The Party". They don't give tin s**t about you.
Google "Madoff political contributions". The cash w h o r e s on both sides of the aisle dipped their wicks in that stenchpot.
