I used to live in central jersey, then made the biggest mistake of moving to miami. People this is a hell hole, besides i have not had good chinese food since i moved here. Anyhow, i have been looking for jobs in nj, and i got several calls back, the ones i am interested in is in morristown, nj. I don't know the area well, but would not mind living in north elizabeth, nj. Fact, it is close to the city, and my bf and i would love to enjoy the advantage of just catching the train into nyc (30 min each way) for a night out. We are looking for a 2 br in a neighborhood where it is not scary to walk at night.
What happened, did you find out that actually living in a vacation spot when not on vacation with the water front view isn't what it is cracked up to be? I've heard this time and time again.

If you can afford it, consider Morristown over Elizabeth. Life is easier when you live and work in the same town.
