Crime-ridden was probably too strong a term. I was just making the point that there are obviously areas with more crime than others. And home prices would reflect that...making the NICER parts (whatEVER race of people happens to live there) unaffordable. Teaneck used to have areas we knew not to head into. Those particular areas were known to be unsafe. Quite a bit of drug dealing and such.
If that is not true anymore, then good for Teaneck!
