If you take a state employee who makes $60,000 a year, those two days cost them about $575 out of pocket.

no I would not complain, I would be happy that I have a job. I honestly think there should be some sacrifice on their part. Its really not that much in the big picture. It would help the tax payer and with my great benefits for me and my family I would still be happy. However I do SEE YOUR POINTS both of you. Especially you marye711 dont want to start a war so I do see your point.

Thanks....I mean some of them really need tha money know what I mean? Altho they make decentmoney does not mean they don't live paycheck to paycheck.

I guess I never thought of it that way. When I worked I loved having days off, with or with pay. I guess I should put myself in their shoes. Thats for bringing me back to earth.
