Hi, I was never that interested in this until I came out of the fog however here is the question:
Lets say you live in town A, Town A voters pass school budget, does that automatically mean come August your new tax bill will go up?? Thanks Marilyn

YEP your taxes are going to go up - unfortunately my town approved. You know in lean times, you have to learn to do more with less....stinks!

Even if the town votes 'no', that doesn't mean taxes won't go up. They still will, and differences will be negligble. Typically, the most you can count on is about a 10% reduction of the increase in what your taxes would have been if the vote had been yes.
The NJEA in this state is like the casino, or more like the mafia, actually. They are 'the house'. They don't lose.

yes you are correct, they will now go to the town council and cry & whine....council will make teeny litttle cuts that amount to nothing in the big picture
