Middletown, Nut Swamp area (Navesink: elementary schools, moving to, best)

Hello,

I will likely be moving to the Middletown area very close to the Nut Swamp elementary and Middletown South HS.

I would really appreciate any feedback to the area and schools. I have an infant and a 5 1/2 year old entering 1st grade this September.

I've done my research and this seems like a great area to raise a family, but need a sanity check as I really hope to make this a very long term move.

You've chosen a very nice area. Nut Swamp is an excellent elementary school, rountinely scoring highly on standardized tests. It is one of the two best (along with Navesink) elementary schools in Middletown. The staff is very, very experienced, with little turnover, which is a plus.
