Don't trust any of them. Remember Christie Whitman.
I remember when Chistie Whitman promised to tackle the insurance industry and outrageous car insurance premiums charged here in NJ. She talked a good game, but did nothing.
I normally lean somewhat leftwards...but the Democratic Party in New Jersey has become a symbol of the corruption, high taxes, and inefficient government spending that characterizes this state. Though I am hesitant because of his connections to Bush, my vote will likely go to Christie. Hopefully he can implement some accountability and responsibility into the governor's office.
POLITICIANS in NJ are symbols of corruption, party doesn't matter. Let's see Whitman and 9/11, for example.... EPA??? Please. NJ politicians, in general, are crooks.
Look let's face reality, the states that are in favor with the ruler of DC always benefit...always do. So I don't know if NOW would be the time to become a GOP state. Another issue, if we were to have a viable GOP candidate, it would have to be someone who is more of a Liberterian, fiscally conservative, but not telling people what their morality should be. Someone like Michael Bloomberg comes to mind. But I wouldn't hold your breath. We don't know who will be running yet and forgive me if I don't think we'll have any really impressive candidates.
