Have you checked out Tommy's on Main Street (shopping center off route 34)?

Try Frank's in Union Beach on Union Ave ... if you come in from Rt 36 it'll be on your LEFT. Every guy I know goes there and there's always a wait to get in (but not that long). It's a real old fashioned kind of place.

Hi Darin,
My name is Tony, I am the owner of Tony's Traditional Barber Shop at 117 Main St. in Matawan. We've been open for about 9 years and I happened to catch your question about trying to find a new barber. I can quarentee that you would be very pleased with a cut from either myself or Linda. She has been with me for 8 years and is very good. I am a Master barber cutting hair for over 30 years,we do every type of mens cuts. Mens Hairstyling, regular haircuts,flat-tops,crew cuts and fades/shape-ups. Haircuts are $17.00. Looking foward to solving your problem.

Thanks
Tony

Tony figures that the OP's hair is so long after almost 5 years that he can charge more than his usual exhorbitant $17 fee.
