What if someone barely qualifies for a mortgage and the rehab costs runs in to 20 percent of sale price...says 80k approx

Will some one still get that 203(k)loan assuming the downpayment is 3.5 percent?

I heard the loans need to be consolodidated , that is the loan on sale price of home can't be conventional rate in one and something else in the 203(k).

Jeez --- isn't that a bad deal.

I believe the max on a 203k loan whether it is 203k streamline or 203k B is $35,000.00 for repairs or appliances etc.
