Bus from Raven's Crest (plainsboro) to Princeton Junction Station (home, moving to)

I will be moving to Raven's Crest in Plainsboro soon and I work in NYC. I was told that the waiting list to get a parking permit was 6 years and the daily parking is $4.
Can anyone tell me if there are usually daily spots available?

I know that there is NJ Transit bus 600 that I could take from Raven's Crest to the station, but on the way home it seems that I may have to wait an hour at the station for the bus home.

What do most people do there who are in this situation?

Most people use the Park and Ride for the bus to NYC at Exit 8A of the NJ Turnpike.
