If you have not tried Peasants, you do not know what your missing. My husband and I have been going there for a few months on a regular basis and there is always a new special to try or the menu favorites. Everyone we bring with us has the same opinion. It is a cozy atmosphere with entertainment on Fri. and Sat. nights. Make a reservation because they always have a crowd in there. enjoy!!!!!
There is a little italian restaurant on Arnold Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach called Spanos. Its a small place with great food that has old world charm. Only problem is trying to get in on Fri. and Sat. PS don't tell anyone because the line may get longer . Oh why did I tell u guys? LOL bon appetite.
yes that place is wonderful! almost had a heart attack when they brought the bill though.
Yes. It's definitely more of a "special occasion" kind of place. Not an every day restaurant. It is still more reasonably priced than a comparable restaurant in Manhattan.
I like "Fritzy's" in Howell...Its authentic German food. Very good and reasonable.
I also like "Steve's sizziling steakhouse".....in Carlstat. I can believe the filet migion is up to $30.00...when I first started going there it was $12.00

I really want to try that place. My uncle is a steak "snob". If it's not done perfectly, he wont eat it. He eats at places like Mortons, The Palm, Ruth's Chris, etc... He says Steve's Sizzling Steaks beats them all. I just cant get past the name.lol
