Hi,

My wife and three sons plan to move to NJ next year. We'd like ot enroll our 4 year old son in Kindergarden next Fall (September 2013) and wonder if anyone can share any advice about the Kindergarden programs in Ridgewood. We are wondering if ther are all day vs half-day? Can anyone share their experiences about the K grade there? Is there a good way to get to know/learn about the K classes?

Thank you.

You should inquire about school tours and try to attend. Surprised it's 1/2 day there.

In general, I think most of the towns that have a lot of stay-at-home moms have half-day.

Thank you ofr your responses. I am wondering what good options may exist for families that need full day coverage for their children in kindergarden since the Ridgewood programs are 1/2 day. Are there any good aftercare programs that go until 5:30pm?
