yup..also just to add on to that the abatement doesnt start until the 1st of the new year after u close...so say u were to close on a condo in august you would have to pay full taxes from september-december...then in january you start abatement year 1 (only land taxes...which comes out to chump change per month btw lol)

I'm so excited. I checked out the place this past week and I am reserving a unit today! Before I jinx myself, I will wait to post the unit details and the reason for my choice after I hand the check over lol.
By the way millsan, I love your energy - so positive! That would be cool if people connected online before moving in, then we had an Altessa meet and greet and we all knew each other already lol.
Anyways. ... Be back soon. L8R

I took a tour the other week and had some concerns. Does anyone know how many units have been reserved? I like the building but am scared that the dues will double after the first year as i doubt they will be able to fill the place anytime soon.

They are about 25% reserved says the developer, as of last week. When you say dues, do you mean taxes or maintenance?

ok i reserved #505! I opted for the balcony over the view and other perks. Its the only layout that doesn't open the front door right into the kitchen, and it was my 2nd favorite layout besides the 08 for 2br/2ba..but the 5th floor being the only floor with terraces was designed a little differently so they didn't have the 08 model like the other floors. I just like the freedom of being able to walk out and get fresh air right from my place This unit is an awesome size for me and I got a vision for what I want to do with my unit when I move in.
Mod cut

As far as maintenance fees, I dont think if they go up it will be substantial, still significantly cheaper than the thread's maintenance which is where i am now..with way fewer amenities.
