I was a patient in the cardiac unit and was very impressed. A family member had major cardiac surgery there a year ago and again, I was impressed with both the doctors and the nurses. Don't have direct experience with other specialties, but I believe it has a good reputation.

My son was born there, no negative feedback, it all went smooth.
My wife had a very annoying and loud roommate, but you can pay extra and get a single room

Great to hear, because it seems a lot of drs on my plan are are affiliated w/ that hospital. I was hoping to find more drs affiliated w/ hackensack because I had read on this board that that was a good hospital but if englewood is good too then that's good. Thanks so much!

alot of the doctor's affiliated with Hackensack are also affiliated with Englewood. I think you will be very happy. Its one of the few bloodless surgery hospt. in the country. ITs a great choice. Please no need to worry. They have an excellent record.

Well hopefully management does the right thing and reaches a contract agreement with their hard working nurses. The dead line for an agreement is tomorrow night. If management intends to replace the real nurses with unqualified "scabs" I certainly wouldn't send a loved one there under any circumstances.
