Interesting it does not really explain what this concern was about other than they don't want him to lose.

The entire article is just about the election and winning or losing, not about WHY he would win or lose.

I am not saying that what THEY are saying is wrong, that Corzine losing NJ would effect the other races poorly, but at the same time it is sad to think that any candidates success or failure would be used as a measure of another with litle connection.....

If we re-elect Corzine, we deserve what we get.

Excellent observation, and this article really exposes this administration and the staff for what it really cares about: themselves. Self-interest. Never mind what ails NJ currently, the history of malfeasance in this state (by both major parties, incidentally) or solutions. The Obama adminstration and that scumbag Emmanuel only care about how it benefits themselves when it comes to national perception. They only care about Corzine's success or failure as it directly impacts their own political aspirations. Disgusting.

As previously stated, if Corslime gets elected, I'm off this site for good.

Why get yourself aggravated if nothing changes.

Might as well put blinders on.

Currently that's NOT the point as the White House & Corislime are Dems

Did you miss this statement in Mike's post

In all fairness, he did say "both parties" in his post SD.....

But I do sense a bit of hostility towards the incumbent......

Guys, when talking politics, try to keep hate out of it. It is one of the strongest and most easily triggered (and manipulate) emotions out there. It is much easier to get you to hate someone more than another than to get you to like someome more than the other.

That is why these smear campaigns are so effective. So lets look at the actual issues and see if Corzine would be better or worse than Christie in office.

The worst we could do is boot someone because we have been told to hate him, and end up with someone even worse!

do you really think you can do worse than this:

NEW JERSEY’S decision to invest billions of dollars of state pension savings into lightly regulated hedge funds is prompting renewed debate, as the state has begun recording hundreds of millions of dollars in losses from the hedge fund holdings. With Wall Street sputtering over the last few months, the $4.2 billion the state poured into hedge funds since 2006 declined in value to $3.5 billion by the end of the year, according to a detailed analysis of 28 funds in the state’s portfolio.

Millions of those losses are gone forever, including more than a third of the $100 million the state invested with a fund called Satellite I in April 2007. The fund’s managers have announced they are closing it, and New Jersey stands to receive back only $62 million of its investment, according to a recent report to the State Investment Council, the volunteer panel that sets state investment strategy.

tie the governor of new jersey's wall street connection into new jersey's massive pension losses. it doesn't get much worse than that.
