I am moving but I have no earthly idea if I should go with Optimum or Verizon Fios since they both service our area.

I need the 3 in one but I am afraid after 1 year they will screw me over.

What do you have?

We have Optimum right now but they are laying FIOS lines as we speak so we will probably switch then. Optimum went up a lot after one year, I think FIOS is running a good price for two years.

I have Optimum triple play for 3 years now and love it. Anytime Ive had a problem they had it fixed same day, usually within a couple hours.

Verizon DSL, regular phone line which nobody 'cept telemarketers calls usually and for tv, we have REAL free DTV. Even if you have cable or FIOS, etc. I receommend you try DTV. I think the US NTIA is still giving out $40 coupons until July, etc. that is if you need a box for it. The other ? is the antenna. The old ones still work, I get about 35 channels.

had Fios for the past 6 months, love the speed and quality, but watch out, Verizon will ********* if you don't pay attention. And the phone support is the worse in the universe.

We've had Optimum Triple Play for about 3 months now (had just cable & internet in our old house before that), and, after a rough go initially where we had to have several service calls, mostly related to our phone service, the service has been good. The problem ended up being the line connecting to the outside of the house, which they weren't initially responsible for. Anyway, I've always found their customer service to be very responsive, but some of the service techs they sent to our house were awful, literally creating more problems than they solved.
