I used to be a regular on these forums.

I am hardly on this site anymore due to people from all over the country bashing our state.

Worry about your own state with their set of problems.

...just really annoyed!

Shanny

I understand exactly how you feel. Like alot of people here on CD I am fascinated by New England. But after reading what they think about us "Mid-Atlantic" types on the various *New England state forums, my once postive opinion is begining to change! Not so much about the beautiful states but the people themselves.

There is a thread called "New Yorkers in New Hampshire?" on the New Hampshire forum that is pretty obnoxious. NOT EVEN ONE person from New Hampshire challenged the OP for that negative thread.

As for New Jersey --- its pretty clear that New Jersey is both the most bashed state and one of the most underrated states in the country. I mentioned this quite a number of times on the general forums but unfortunately some of my fellow New Yorkers don't exactly help!

* to their credit I rarely read anything negative from people in Rhode Island or Vermont.

Most of the hate is uncalled for, butI think they're jealous. Jersey has everything: close access to major cities, farm and country living, rich suburbs, gambling, shore resorts, some of the best naturally grown fruits and veggies in America, some of the best food in American, good education, good mass transit (in most parts), and of course the best feature of all, me!

Talking Good Post Shanny !

I totally agree with you Shanny.

I am not one for long goodbyes, so for those individuals who are "leaving" ..{{cough}}.. buh bye, buuuh bye, BUh bye......

And to those "dudes" and "bro's" who write dribble such as "Yeah Man, this State Suks Man, I know 'cause I've lived here my whole life"
BWHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh how they make the Queen laugh !!
I say, carry on little trolls. Carry on. Keep us all in stitches !

Shanny, They're bashing NJ because they're ignorant, don't know what they're talking about, they're talking out of their a**es, etc.

Make that 2 best features: you then me. You can take me out of Jersey but you can't take Jersey out of me.
