My husband and I went to a couple of Open Houses in Freehold and Howell. Beautiful homes and reasonable priced. However, we did not see any African Americans. I do not want to purchase a home and feel uncomfortable later. One of the main reasons we are looking at this area is because of the school system.
My question is: Are there any African Americans in Howell or Freehold?
There is always a reason beautiful and reasonable (in this market) are in the same sentance.
Why don't you search on the school stats of the school systems? That would provide you percentages of whites/latinos/blacks in the schools.
God forbid you were white and asking this question. You would have been hung out to dry and your post would have been deleted by now.
If there's a bigger ass on this board, then CaptainNJ, I don't know who it is.
Let me introduce myself. I'm that guy.
The op is a fiction. Concocted to keep 'diversity' on these boards 24/7.
To make it look like someone cares about such an insignificant thing as the black /white ratio.
The conspiracy has been uncovered! The *** is up.
Try to remember, white folks are people too!
The term "white people" is in itself a smoke screen. It is a social construct. That's all.
And by the way- "Latino" is not a race. You can be of any race and be hispanic or latino.
Yes, precisely. This might come as a giant shock to some of you who live under large rocks, but black people haven't always been made to "feel comfortable" when living in all-white neighborhoods. @@
Today that is largly a personal problem and up to blacks to adjust to the new reality. I have news for you. WHITE PEOPLE JUST WANT TO GET ON WITH THINGS. I know hating white people has kept you warm, made you feel important and best yet given you a convienient excuse. And that's difficult to leave behind I'm sure. But it's time. Just let it go.
I have news for you. Your warm fuzzy "get on with things" outlook will not prepare you for the new reality.
Times have changed and they will change again.
You will only have a lock and load mentality at that point.
No vision or perspective today pretty much guarantees that.

I'm very interested in your comment. But so far we totally misunderstand each other. Dm me with the news.
Did anyone ever consider that it is totally impossible for any African -dash- whatever to be anywhere in NJ? Because then the person would not be in Africa?
