Neither Robbinsville nor Hamilton Square come up yet on city-data.com, so until then I thought I would post some pics. Robbinsville (zip code 08691) is technically Washington Twp, but to those who have lived in the area for a long time, it is Robbinsville (probably because there are 4 other Washington Townships in NJ). Hamilton Square (part of zip code 08690) is technically a section of Hamilton Township. They are both great areas IMO.
Robbinsville is an mix of new development and old, with farmland thrown in. Here are the township library, senior citizen center, and two township parks. The first park has a skateboard park, volleyball, and basketball. The second park has soccer fields, a playground, and a track just under a mile long.
The largest housing development is Foxmoor, which has a mix of condos and detached homes. I think it was built during the '90s. It has a shopping center with a grocery store, pharmacy, bridal store, bagel shoppe, a few restaurants, etc.
They are now building the Washington Township Towne Square, which will be a mix of detached homes, townhomes, and loft-style apartments, the lofts being over a shopping center. Because it's still under contruction, there is only one store open at this point. It is planned to be mid-level shopping, with private boutiques and nicer chains (Ann Taylor, Abercromie & Fitch, that sort of thing).
But outside of these two developments, Robbinsville has almost a country or rural like feel. Homes are spread out and there are many tree and produce farms, and a few horse farms. It is great to be able to easily buy fresh produce year round, and also a fresh, local pine tree for Christmas. Here is a tree farm:

Just west of Robbinsville is Hamilton Square. I love Hamilton Square because it has many historical homes that have been well preserved. There are sidewalks and old fashioned streetlamps, and many residents put lit (electric) candles in the windows at night.
Off of Mercer Street is Sayen Gardens, a township owned park. It is very popular for wedding pictures. There are waterfalls, bridges, and fountains. There is a walking trail and a historic house you can rent out for parties.
Hey Great photos....Nice job....I luv the cherry trees in bloom. Friends (bride and groom) did their photo shoot at the gardens last spring....them and another 100 couples It's a popular place as a back drop.
I've got a number of friends out that way, It's very nice indeed. Hard to tell but I think that's by buddies airplane in the background. It's a nice area, a mix of rural,old village and yet I-95,130, and the trurnpike are easy to get to.
Way to go, Christina! You've quickly mastered the fine art of photo tours, and you did an excellent job! I especially loved those fine older homes in Hamilton Square; that's my type of neighborhood! The Cookie Cottage looks to be quite inviting, and I can almost smell the sauce wafting out of Mannino's Pizza!
