Can anyone give me any input about the Morris Plains High School? Is it a good district and a good place to live? What about montclair School district HS?

Thanks

There is no Morris Plains high school, thats the problem. Morris Plains students get bused into Morristown High School, which is certainly not as good as it used to be. Morristown High School is currently filled to the brim with punk illegal-alien hispanic kids and punk black kids from the hollow. Every couple of weeks there are articles in the paper about knife fights and other disturbances breaking out between these two groups.

The K-8 schooling in Morris Plains on the other hand is excellent and could go against any other elementary or middle schools in the state, but for High School you better consider private schooling.

The school is over 50% white, how is it brimming with poorer class hispanics and blacks? You need to go to California (and Texas, Florida and alot of other places for that matter) where a school that is even 50% white is considered mayberry high.

Cali, Tejas, and the Floridiots can keep their crappy schools. This is New Jersey we are talking about.

Do you even know the area? I reserve the right to talk all the trash I want to about Morristown.

I was raised in Morris Plains but was enrolled in the Parsippany school district.

Well then that technically isn't Morris Plains. You were just in an area that had a Morris Plains mailing address. Similar situations occur for people with Morris Plains mailing addresses on the other side of East Hanover ave who have a Morris Plains mailing address and yet have to attend Morristown schools.

Yeah, it's weird. I lived in Parsippany but had the Morris Plains mailing address.

I do know the area and yes I will recognize you as Mr. Morristown "Grand Boca" if that toots your horn. BTW if Morristown starts to get tough with the illegals in town (which I understand is happening) then their population should start decreasing.

I'm going to jump in here and agree with Mead. There are a ton of problems with Morristown High school. I have a friend who just pulled her daughter out (and is going to have to go private) because of all the constant fights there. I would not send my kid there.
